Thanks, everyone, for your overwhelming interest in these Star Wars Spaghetti Western posters! I made these mostly for myself, because I thought it would be fun to do. Not only were they fun to make, but it’s been a great deal of fun seeing the enthusiasm so many of you have for the elements I mashed together in this series. Thanks for all of your support and kind words.
Because of the overwhelming response, I very quickly sold out of the first run of 50 prints. In fact, I’m just now catching up with the very unexpected demand! So many people have been asking about a second edition that I wanted to get these back out there as soon as I could. Instead of just reprinting the same images, however, I thought a second edition might be a fun opportunity to make some tweaks I was considering the first time around.
I’m often torn between several different ideas as I put the finishing touches on an image: font color, costume coloration, things like that. I wind up deciding one way or another, but I often wonder if the other choices were the “right” ones instead. So in this second edition, I’ve made tweaks to such finishing touches, to help this edition stand out a little from the first, and to quiet that nagging voice that keeps telling me that I should have gone with the other font color, haha. The changes are subtle, but I think they help set these images apart from the first edition just a little bit.
These are now available on my Print Store page.
